A girl and her dog showing the ties that never end

The Ties That Never End

The Ties That Never End

A tribute poem

I held your paw, so soft, so true,
The world felt brighter, wrapped in you.
Through every storm, through joy and pain,
You were my sunshine after the rain.

Your faithful eyes, a gentle light,
Guided me through the darkest night.
No need for words, your love was clear,
A steadfast song I longed to hear.

Now silence sits where once you lay,
Yet love still whispers every day.
In every shadow, soft and deep,
I find the pawprints you still keep.

Though time may steal your mortal part,
You live forever in my heart.
For bonds like ours can never bend,
A love eternal, without end.
